水口です。 お世話になっています。

bsfilter-1.0.7.tgz 中の mua/mew4/mew.el なんですが、mew-summary-bsfilter-mark-region() 中の bsfilter のオプションが 「-a --list-spam」になっています。 この -a はDB更新の指示だと思うのですが、mew-summary-bsfilter-mark-region() は未学習のメッセージに対して使用することを想定されているんですね？

私の場合、clean と誤判定された新着Spamを learn-spam した後に mew-summary-bsfilter-mark-region で再判定することが良くあります。 しかし、このままだと再判定結果で再度DBに更新がかかってしまうんですよね？ 再判定結果がSpamだったら 2重にSpam学習され、clean だったら spam学習と clean学習の両方がされてしまうんですね？

そこで、mew-summary-bsfilter-mark-region は結果を学習しないことを承知で使うなら -a は取ってもいいかと思うのですが、問題無いでしょうか？

全てに対して、お考えの通りです。

fetchmail/procmailやPOP proxyでbsfilterが呼ばれずに、mewのinboxにメールが入ったことを想定しています。複数の新着メールに対して...mark-regionにより、判定+結果に従い学習、判定が間違った物に対してlearn-ham/spamという使用方法を考えていました。

学習なしでspamにマークを付けるためだけに使用するのであれば、-aは不要です。取っても問題ありません。

私の場合は pop モードの bsfilter 以外にメッセージの入力元が無いので、 -a は外して使うことにします。
