bsfilter の POP-Proxy としての使い方についてお尋ねします。 (2005-12-05 15:57 by Anonymous #18292)

私が管理しているメールサーバー(OSはSparc Solaris10)には、各利用者の
アカウントとホームディレクトリが存在しています。
各利用者が MUA から POP-Proxy をアクセスしてメールを取得する際、各自の
ホームディレクトリ/.bsfilter にあるデータベースを使ってSPAMを判定したい
と思います。

管理者である私の方では、

# /usr/local/bin/bsfilter --pop --pop-server localhost --insert-probability --mark-spam-subject -a &

として、bsfilter を起動したのですが、これだとルート直下の .bsfilter
ディレクトリを見に行ってしまいます。

何とかPOPログインしたアカウントの ホームディレクトリ/.bsfilter を見に行くように
したいと思うのですが、どうしたらよいでしょうか？

すみません。現在のところ、アカウントに従って参照するディレクトリを変更する機能はありません。拡張も、なかなか大変な作業と思われます。

少し考えてはみますが期待しないでください。
別の運用方法を検討して頂けますでしょうか。

ご多忙のなか、リプライありがとうございました。
次の手としては、各利用者の .forward に
| "/usr/local/bin/bsfilter --homedir /user/hogehoge/.bsfilter --pipe >> /var/mail/hogehoge"
というように書いておくことで、メールがサーバへ新着するタイミングでフィルタリング後、スプールへ溜め込もうと考えています。このやり方で何か問題があるようでしたら、アドバイス頂けると幸いです。
bsfilterはとてもよいツールですので、なんとか活用していきたいと思っています。今後ともよろしくお願いします。

bsfilterが当該ユーザ権限で起動されますし、問題ないと思います。

bsfilterに限った話ではありませんが、本文に"From"から始まる行がある場合の動作は心配ですので、確認して頂きたいです。

リプライありがとうございます。

本文中に、
　・From および From: で始まる行を含む、ヘッダもどき（通常のメールよりコピペ）
　・明らかにSPAMと判断される内容
を入れてみる形で簡単に試してみましたところ、本来のヘッダのSubjectに[SPAM]の文字列が入りました。また、X-Spam-Probability の行も正しい位置に入りました。
