複写先の空メディアが挿入されません。 (2006-01-15 00:38 by Anonymous #19103)

「円盤複写屋」を使わせていただきました。iMac本体のドライブに複写元のDVDを入れ、読み込んだところまではよかったのですが、「メディアを挿入してください」のメッセージに従い空のメディアをドライブに入れようとしたところ、キーボードの挿入ボタンを押しても挿入されませんで、仕方なく中断した次第です。
　当方のiMacは旧型・G4のドーム型iMacです。OSは10.3です。なんとか作業を完遂できるよう、ご指導よろしくお願いします。

お試しいただきありがとうございます。
キーボードに挿入ボタンがある機種は扱った事が無いのですが、おそらく普段はOSがトレイクローズの命令をドライブに送っているのだと思います。
円盤複写屋が「メディアを挿入してください」とメッセージを表示する時には、ドライブの排他的アクセス権を円盤複写屋が取得しているので、もしかしたらその為にOSがトレイクローズできないのかもしれません。
お使いの機種はトレイタイプのドライブが装着されていると思いますが、手でトレイを軽く押してメディアを挿入できませんか?
本来なら円盤複写屋がトレイクローズの機能を持つべきかもしれませんが...。

返事が遅くなってしまい申し訳ありません。
御指南の通りにおそるおそるトレイを押してみると、すんなり挿入されました(^_^;)。
その後、問題なく複写することが出来ました。
ありがとうございました<m(_ _)m>。これからも愛用させていただきます。
