I see!  Yes, I'm not sure what the proper English terms are.

Interesting!  

I guess in English 「小文節」 is close to 'phrase' (or maybe 'word 
phrase') and 「大文節」 is more like 'clause'.

That makes more sense to me now, thank you very much.
