Bugfixes and minor feature enhancements were made.
One of the new features is a loader application,
which speeds up command line processing when an
amaroK instance is already running. Also, the
on-screen-display has been enhanced and is now
more configurable.
This major update features a largely rewritten audio engine,
which can work with multiple audio systems, like aRts and
GStreamer. It also adds a new, comfortable file browser,
support for tag-editing, and an on screen display. Another new
feature is the slick 3D analyzer module which uses OpenGL.
There have been numerous performance
improvements, bugfixes, and GUI updates.
