Project Description

The Anti-Spam SMTP Proxy (ASSP) Server project
aims to create an open source platform independent
SMTP Proxy server which implements whitelists, Bayesian, and virus filtering to help stop unsolicited
commercial email (UCE). Anti-spam tools should be
adaptive to new spam and customized for each
site’s email patterns. This easy to use tool works
with any mail transport and achieves these goals
requiring no operator intervention after the
initial setup phase.

0.1.4

This release fixes the problems where mail sent sequentially without a RSET between messages could be garbled, mail servers which require that client waits for the "254 Send data" after the DATA directive were not supported, spam and nonspam logging was not working properly, and $ChangeRoot="/my/new/root" was not working in the configuration file in Unix. The options were changed to have $DEBUG=1 to make it easier to isolate problems.
