Project Description

The ATLAS (Automatically Tuned Linear Algebra Software) project is an ongoing research effort focusing on applying empirical techniques in order to provide portable performance. It provides C and Fortran77 interfaces to a portably efficient BLAS implementation, as well as a few routines from LAPACK.

An improved CPU throttling probe. A compiler test has been added. Ffrontend/backend tmpnam collision has been fixed. Parallel make support has been re-enabled. Buildinfo support has been fixed. A clock speed probe has been added to config. Make supports performance summary and GNU-style check. An error has been fixed in -Si nof77 1 that caused config to die without the f77 compiler. New arch defaults have been added for P4E[32,64]SSE3 and HAMMER64SSE3. GCC 4.2 support has been improved.
