Project Description

BIE (Business Integration Engine) is an open source integration system that makes it easy for organizations to exchange data with external trading partners regardless of their native applications. It competes in the same space as applications like Microsoft BizTalk except that it is truly cross-platform since it written in Java.

This release adds a schema validation option in the translation
action, a clone function allowing multiple instances of the protocol
listeners to run concurrently, enhancements to the X12 message
formatter, and an action to run local system calls. Map builder
enhancements include support for many-to-one atomic level
relationships and an new look-and-feel. This release also includes
refactored plugin APIs, allowing easier development of custom
listeners, actions, macros, and message formats.
