BEYE (Binary EYE) is a portable advanced file viewer with a built-in editor for binary, hexadecimal, and disassembler modes. It contains a highlighting Java/AVR/i86-AMD64/ARM-XScale/PPC64 disassembler, full preview of MZ, NE, PE, LE, LX, DOS.SYS, NLM, ELF, a.out, arch, coff32, PharLap, and rdoff executable formats, a code guider, and many other features.

The license was changed to GNU GPL, and thus source code is now available. This version introduces numerous bugfixes and lots of new features including a help system, an integer calculator, a CPU performance utility, opcodes for the AMD-K7 Athlon, and undocumented opcodes for the i387SL and Cyrix487. The Linux/Unix code was completely rewritten, and an ncurses version was added.
