Project Description

Blinkensisters is a Parallax-style 2D scrolling
gaming system for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and
POSIX-compatible Unix systems (every platform that
can run SDL). You can make your own levels with a
simple text editor. The game also supports scripting.

Internally, many parts of the game engine have been enhanced or completely rewritten, and optimized for better performance on slow hardware. The engine now handles transparency in PNG files correctly, and sports entirely new (and better) collision detection.

The code is also much more 64-bit clean and will compile on even more platforms. The documentation has seen major improvements, and is also available from the project's homepage.
