BlueMind is a messaging and collaboration platform. It offers scalable shared messaging, calendars, contacts, and instant messaging with advanced mobility (iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.), and Outlook, Thunderbird, and CalDAV connectivity support. Designed with simplicity as a goal, it uses Web 2.0 technologies with a JavaScript UI, offline Web capability, and a Web-services-oriented pluggable architecture.

This bugfix release for the Stable 1.0 branch fixes problems with some PDF generation
with handling Outlook updates occurring during a sync.

It improves calendar view management with resources,
adds a "suspended" filter to directory
entries, and allows addressbook subscription directly from the email share alert.

Other small fixes or improvements are in for the webmail,
contacts, and Outlook
plugins. GWT has been upgraded to version 2.5.

This bugfix release for the Stable 1.0 branch fixes LMTP delivery problems with some email messages, provides a workaround for strange Firefox crashes in webmail, and fixes access to identities management. Other fixes are for contact photo importation, CSS in the contact and admin consoles, a focus problem with IE, and minor problems in webmail. An Outlook bur report feature has been added.

This release is ready for production use. It provides resource reservation handling from the Webmail, some workarounds for strange crashes in Firefox, many enhancements and fixes in the calendar (month view improved, timezone and languages fixes) better appcache handling, fixes in Thunderbird birthday and IM synchronization, a fix for mobile email search and allday events in some devices, and Redhat and Debian package dependency adjustments.

1.0 RC3

This should be the last release candidate before 1.0. It provides many bugfixes and a lot of polish over all applications. A strong focus has been made on improving the overall performance of the platform, resulting in quicker administrative tasks (up to 300% gain on user creation, backup, etc.).
