Changes from version 2.8 Many enhancements to the UI, new options for import and export of feeds via popular formats (OPML, OCS, RCS). Improved support for some RSS 2.0 specific features, and CommentAPI support for Weblogs.
Many enhancements were made to the tree view, the HTML view, and the search options. The updating process was also changed - an upgrade manager allows the user to control the downloading of new components. The downloads are now packaged as tar gzip archives, which can be unpacked to create the normal file and directory setup.
The user interface has been enhanced, many bugs have been fixed, and the embedded browser has been improved. A plugin interface for additional tools has been made available, and there are two plugins on the BottomFeeder Web site (a simple IRC client and a simple MSN IM client).
The save file format has been changed, and a lot of bugs were fixed. The UI has been gone through for usability, and many other changes were also made.
