This release fixes a packaging bug, and a problem where it would not subscribe to new feeds. It also fixes a bug in the 'Load Sample Feeds' support, and adds 'notification' support, where the user may now mark one or more feeds as being of interest. When new items come in for those feeds, the tree view will be expanded, and the feed of interest selected. There are TwoFlower updates to support HTML forms.
A number of bugs that could cause crashes have been fixed. The user interface has been cleaned up some, and a menu item has been added that will grab a sample RSS feed from the BottomFeeder site.
A bug in the compatible server (Radio, AmphetaDesk, etc.) has been fixed. The default updating loop was set to 5 seconds instead of 5 minutes (only affected new installations).
There were a number of small bugs that crept into the 2.0 release,
including one that could cause the application's GUI to close while
leaving the application to linger in memory. See the changelog for
details. The license has changed from GPL to Artistic. The authors
feel that this license has fewer perceived usage problems associated
with it.
