Project Description

Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.

live-testing 2.0.1-12

The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2012/Dec/09). The language file es_ES of bash was updated. To avoid a bug where the OS did not know about the partition changes, the command "partprobe" was added in prep-ocsroot after a local disk is inserted. To avoid a GRUBv1 on ext4 issue, running the grub-install from the restored OS should be tried first. If this fails, then use the GRUBv1 on the running OS.
