Project Description

Copix is a multi-purpose framework for PHP Web
applications. It features a multi-layered
structure (GUI, services, and database access)
and an advanced caching system based on plug-ins
(Smarty, internal, or others). Many other
components are also integrated, including a
calendar, mail sender, and a forum.

A wiki, cache system, and log system were added.
Authentication is better and simpler. Copix 3
works with PHP 5 and PDO (MySQL, SQLite, Oracle,
and others). Lot of major changes were done. The
module system is very useful and simple.

The licence was changed to the LGPL. i18n support
was added. Plugins support was improved. A DAO
enhancement was made for mapping O/R. A structure
for Plug & Play was added to Modules Support. New
tools include a WIKI renderer and XML parsing.
