Project Description

Cream is a configuration of the famous Vim text editor that makes it easier to use, like an Apple- or Windows-style text editor. It uses Vim's own extensibility to improve menus, keyboard shortcuts, and editing behavior. Cream seamlessly maintains Vim's insertmode to access all the power of the original Vim plus many custom Cream extensions.

This is an incremental release and fixes some minor bugs. An option was added to turn off the status line. Another addition is the Slide Generator add-on. Relying on ImageMagick's convert utility, it converts a directory of Web-compatible images (.jpg, .gif, and .png) into a Web page index of small thumbnails that link to the full size image.
