cvsfs is an attempt to let a user mount a CVS project like any file system. It allows you to navigate and browse through a project tree. No preparations are required on the CVS server side.

The procfs routines no longer go into an endless loop if data is written to the files 'control' and 'view'. New mount options allow you to change the presentation of the files/directories (user id, group id, file attributes, and directory attributes). Changing the attributes (read/write/execute) is allowed, but doesn't have any effect, because it is not fully implemented.. This allows you to mount the file system once as root, but later on you can work as a normal user.
