Project Description

Drivel is a GNOME client for working with online
journals, also known as weblogs or simply blogs.
It retains a simple and elegant design while
providing many powerful features, including
support for LiveJournal, Blogger, MovableType,
Advogato, and Atom journals. (Systems based off
these are also supported, including WordPress and
Drupal.)

A port to GTK+ 2.4 and GNOME 2.6, lots of HIG work, updated artwork, a port of most of the UI to Glade, a revised "Detect Music" subsystem, and a new "Insert Poll" dialog. User pictures are now displayed in the "Pictures" menu. Numerous instances of windows being displayed too soon were fixed along with an error in calculating the number of shared journals a user has access to and a bug that caused the Entry window to be displayed immediatedly after it had been minimized.

This release includes a notification area icon, a minimize to notification area after post and window close feature, and an option to disable the notification area. The notification area icon also checks for updates to your friends page. The entry window size and position is now saved, and the entire interface was cleaned up to match the GNOME HIG.
