This release added support for Unicode ID3v2 tags with id3lib and made it possible for users to select a non-standard character encoding for the ISO-8859-1 fields in the tag. The handling of character encoding when reading and saving filenames was improved, and the ability to rename a directory from the browser with a pattern was added. Many bugs were fixed, including crashes when reading FLAC files and when using the CDDB window. A new Bulgarian translation was included and the French, German, and Brazilian Portuguese translations were updated.
