Project Description

FBReaderJ is an e-book reader for the Android platform. It is a clone of the FBReader book reader written in Java by the same authors. FBReaderJ supports several e-book formats: oeb, epub, and fb2. Direct reading from zip, tar, and gzip archives is supported.

A new progress indicator style has been added: a footer with indicator bar, page number, battery level, and clock. This look can be configured (or replaced by the old one) in "Menu->Settings->Scrollbar". The "Prevent screen from sleep" option has been extended: preventing can be disabled if battery level is too low.

Processing of large OPDS feeds (with over 500 books in one file) has been fixed. The network library doesn't throw an exception if an SD card is unavailable. Error processing was improved for litres e-book catalog. The error messaging system in the network library has been rewritten using exceptions.
