GD-Octave is a library glue for exporting GD
library functions into octave. It features string
and text rendering to the PNG, JPEG, GIF, and WBMP
image formats. Line, Point, Arc, Polygon, and Fill
are supported as primitives.

This release supports Octave 2.9.x or later and libgd 2.0 and later. autoload() compatibility was added and minor maintenance issues were fixed. New examples were included.
This release adds GNU Autotools, a more robust installation procedure,
plugs for memory leaks, safer pointer handling with new checking,
examples, and design documents.
