Project Description

GeoToad is a geocaching query tool to help speed
up the boring part of geocaching: choosing the
cache and collecting the data. It allows you to
generate any kind of complex query you want, and
the program will go and poll the Geocaching query,
grab the data, and output it to any format you
want. The Geocache info can be synced straight to
your GPS, iPod, PDA, or cell phone in over 20
different formats.

This release supoprts more native formats (including new decrypted HTML and text modes) and has less dependence on gpsbabel. Geocaches with UTF-8 comments or descriptions no longer break GPX files. Better compatibility with 3rd-party software products was achieved.

GPX files now include the last 5 geocaching.com
comments. HTML and text files now include a full
decode ring and the type of the last comment.
HTTP downloads are now retried. An option for
disabling EasyName waypoint IDs was added. Parsing
of input coordinate formats is now more liberal.
Many bugfixes were made.
