Blank lines at the beginning and end of puff text are now trimmed. TRIM_BLANKLINES can be used to change this behavior. The ability to expand $VALUE in config files was added. The default setup was modified in various ways. It now uses a new config method which reads ~/.gale/conf and should work anywhere gsub/gsend does. Permissions on files in /tmp were fixed. The program now cleans up after itself better. Changes were made to the default config file. The ability to compose marked filters was added. Building from a read-only directory was fixed.
