Project Description

Gjiten is a Japanese dictionary program for GNOME which uses edict format dicfiles. Besides being a word dictionary it also has a kanji dictionary; any combination of stroke number, radicals, and search key can be used for kanji lookups.

Radicals show up again in KanjiDic. There are translation updates.
The radical file was updated, and a dynamic radical window was
added. Some bugs were fixed.

Kanji characters can be clicked for lookup. The
autoconf scripts were regenerated for kfreebsd
support. Possible buffer overflows were fixed. The
stroke count search was corrected.
