Font settings stuff in the "Highlight Colors" Dialog, po and SGML language definitions by Frank Jensen, "Indent..." feature/dialog (uses gnu 'indent' program) ",Select Line", "Clear Line", "Clear to Line End" and "Clear to Line Start" functions have been added. Documentation on session stuff and menus has begun. Comment, comment_selection bindings, and the "Comment Selection" menu entry have all been removed. Some cursor size code in GtkExText has been fixed, as well as a nasty GtkExText bug that was messing with the cursor position without the user's permission. Line_start, line_end, freeze, and thaw bindings for python/guile have been added. The position of the Bracket Match stuff has been reversed; the cursor now needs to be on the RHS of the character instead of the LHS.

More work was done on GtkExText il8n support, and the main window can now be shrunken. Global Find/Replace settings were added, and they are saved between uses and sessions. Cursor backup saving was added into GtkExText so that it acts like other editors when changing to lines shorter than the current one. Fixes were made for a Find/Replace segfault, some problems with gdstearaway size allocation, and some problems with multi-line selections.

Multiple font styles are now supported for for more customizable syntax highlighting (Bold, Italic, Bold Italic, Underline, and Strikeout). Bracket match highlighting, background pixmap support, and scrolling improvements have been added. The selection now reverses font color for better visibility.

Now usable full screen on 1024x768. Approximately 25% speed increase. All the horizontal scrolling bugs are now worked out. Other minor fixes.

Options for saving/restoring window geometry settings, separation of the Edit toolbar from the file operations toolbar, a new build toolbar, Find toolbar (an entry and a button), View menu, and options for hiding toolbars and the status bar, new "Open Multiple..." file selection (stays open until the user explicitly kills it), conversion of documentation to HTML, new gnome-help-browser stuff, and a new 'GnomeSettings' widget for program settings.
