Project Description

The GNU Gatekeeper is a free H.323 gatekeeper based on the OpenH323 project. You can use it to manage a Voice-over-IP network and let endpoints (e.g., Netmeeting) communicate through symbolic names. It also has an external interface for billing and other applications. It runs on a number of Unix versions (including Linux and Solaris) and Windows.

2.0.9

The new release contains a H.235 Annex D implementation
(Baseline Profile) that should solve interoperability problems
with many H.235 devices. Other features include radius-
based call routing and rewriting, the ability to read the config
from an SQL database, log file rotation, a backport of the
RouteToGateway feature from the 2.2 branch, support for
CallCreditServiceControl in RCF and ACF messages, and lots
of small bugfixes. This will be probably the last release in the
2.0 branch except for bugfixes and maybe 2.2 feature
backports.
