This release supports the modified fox-config on
Gentoo which prevented
Goggles Music Manager from building. It closes all
fd on forking in
order to keep playing while opening the Web
browser.
The genre, artist, and album list may now also be
horizontally resized. Some compilation issues were
resolved and the code is now compatible with the
latest FOX snapshot.
Each source now remembers scroll position of the
tracklist. An option to close the audio device
when paused was added. Shuffle was improved and a
keyboard shortcut was added. A bug in the filename
renaming feature was fixed. The filename renaming
confirmation dialog is not shown if it is not
required. The volume button is disabled when xine
is not opened. A workaround was made for older
SQLite versions regarding index creation. A
compilation bug with FOX-1.7.11 was fixed.
Support for creating playlists was added. In
addition, playlists may be exported to various
formats like XSPF, PLS, Extended M3U, and CSV. The
clipboard and drag-and-drop may be used to arrange
play lists and to transfer between KDE/GNOME
applications. The toolbar may be docked on the top
or bottom, showing big or small icons with
optional text. The database now also stores the
following information for each track: year,
rating, import date, play date, and play count.
The album list won't show duplicate album names
anymore. The icon theme is customizable.
