The GNU Privacy Assistant is a graphical frontend to GnuPG and may be used to manage the keys and encrypt/decrypt/sign/check files. It is much like Seahorse.

All crypto operations are now run asynchronously,
so the interface no longer "freezes". Subkeys and
key capabilities can now be displayed. The key
list can now be sorted by any column. Import and
export from files and servers are now in different
menus. Many other improvements and bugfixes were
made.
A new popup context menu to the keyring, an option to change the passphrase for a secret key, an improved user interface for changing the expiration date of a key, some UI improvements to key generation, and a Swedish translation.
This release now works with GnuPG 1.2, and uses GPGME for its backend access and GTK+2.0 for the UI. Overall, the interface has been reworked and lots of bugs fixed. User IDs on a key are now shown, and a new display of signatures on a key has been added, which allows you to see all the signatures regardless of the User ID.
Improvements were made for building NLS support. The program now builds on
Win32 systems. Minor bugfixes were made in gpapa. A new option was added for
selection of a keyserver from a configurable list.
