GridWay is a workload manager that performs job
execution management and resource brokering on a
grid consisting of distinct computing platforms
managed by Globus services. It enables large-
scale, reliable, and efficient sharing of
computing resources managed by different Local
Resource Management systems within a single
organization (enterprise grid) or scattered across
several administrative domains (partner or
supply-chain grid).
