GNU GTick is a metronome application. It features a
scale from 10 beats per minute to 1000 BPM and
arbitrary beat modes (meters). It uses GTK+2 and
OSS.

A (saveable) run control file was added, rc file options for
speed and meter were created, the sound device has
been made configurable, the clicks on fast meter changes
were fixed, a separate audio thread was added to
improve realtime performance and to be independent of
the GTK+2 frontend, and customizable commands for
metronome start/stop were added.
Dutch, Romanian and Finnish translations were added,
the slider policy has been changed to continuous
updates, and some new features were added, including
spinbuttons for speed and volume adjustments, menu,
status bar, manual tapping input (with mouse/keyboard),
customizable ticking sound (via libsndfile), optional sine
sound, and an options handling system.
