A patch for x86_64 compatibility was applied. The
GNet API is no longer used for TCP communication.
FTP support was added (currently only passive
mode). SSL support (for HTTPS) was added. You can
enable or disable it at compilation time. By
default, SSL support is disabled, and you can
activate it by passing "--enable-ssl=yes" to the
./configure script. Timeout management has been
completely revised. New options have been added in
the "Protocols" section of the "Settings"
notebook. The INSTALL file was updated.
