Project Description

Gweled is a GNOME version of a popular game (for
PalmOS, Windows, and Java) called "Bejeweled" or
"Diamond Mine". The aim of the game is to make an
alignment of 3 or more gems, either vertically or
horizontally, by swapping adjacent gems. The game
ends when there are no possible moves left.

A PNG icon is used for the window (not all window managers like SVG icons). The cursor and the background tiles are now SVG. The intrusive "illegal move" message was removed. You can start new game by clicking anywhere in the game window. Bonuses do not score insane amounts of points. Smoother animations. Generally scores less points. Instant-apply board size setting. It's now impossible to lose before the first bonus (just like in the original game).
