Project Description

jEdit is an Open Source text editor written in Java. It has many useful features, such as syntax highlighting, bracket matching, regular expression searching, multiple file search and replace, folding, and keyboard macros. jEdit also includes a powerful plugin architecture that allows more than 80 plugins to be downloaded and installed from within the editor.

Discontinuous selection support, overhauled markers feature, search and replace can now replace occurences of the search string with the result of a BeanShell code snippet, 'quick copy' (Alt-click or middle mouse button click inserts current selection at clicked location), 'Cut Append' and 'Copy Append' commands, 'auto wrap around' option in search and replace dialog box, and various minor UI tweaks.
