jShuffle is a Java application which allows you to
use your iPod Shuffle under GNU/Linux and many
other operating systems. It features per song
volume settings, start and stop time, play count,
and sound check. This software will read and write
the iTunesDB data stored on the iPod. It also
supports the iTunesSD and iTunesShuffle data which
are only in the iPod Shuffle.
