The new features include a basic tracking of the
online/offline status of contacts, rules to
prioritize notifications, and some interface
enhancements, including a zsh completion function.
A severe bug in the log system that can cause
memory exhaustion was also fixed.
Various missing basic features were added, including support for non-UTF-8 terminals, message logging in files, automatic creation of ~/.jtalk, and a safe startup sequence.
