Project Description

K3DSurf is a program for visualizing and manipulating multidimensional surfaces by using Mathematical equations. It's also a "modeler" for POV-Ray in the area of parametric surfaces. It features 3D, 4D, 5D, and 6D HyperObjects visualization, full support for all functions (like the C language), support for mouse events in the drawing area, animation and morph effects, Povscript and mesh file generation, and support for VRML2 and OBJ files. More than 100 examples are provided.

0.6.0

An OpenGL based viewer has been integrated that supports all controls for "Parametric" and "Isosurface" pages (except for the conditional drawing) and can be used as an independent window in full screen mode. To use the old 2D viewer, you have only to click the green button (at the bottom). The Isosurface morph effect has been impl: use the example "Blob_Morph" located at the end of the examples list, in the "Isosurface" page , to test this kind of animation. There is conditional drawing for Isosurfaces. Povray mesh file generation(smooth/Flat triangles) and an Obj file format for Isosurfaces have been added.
