Project Description

Kexi is an integrated environment for managing data.
It helps with creating database schemas and
inserting, querying, and processing data. It
integrates smoothly into KDE and KOffice, and is
designed to compete with Microsoft Access. It is supported under Linux and MS Windows.

Kexi, the desktop database application, has received over 270 improvements including the ability to handle images using the new "object" data type, the ability to compact the database, support for automatic data type recognition, and Kross scripting tools. MS Access-like macros are now supported as well. The user's handbook was updated.
