KnowledgeTree is a powerful Web-based document management system built on the popular LAMP (Apache/MySQL/PHP) stack. It is a leading PHP-based commercial document management software project. KnowledgeTree is used by Fortune 500 companies, community organizations, local and state governments, and educational and scientific institutions around the world.

This is the first official release from the stable
3.4 branch. Highlights include UI updates, a New
BitRock stack which includes OO.org, updates for
several stack components, and the ability to
convert to PDF. Installers now automatically
configure SSL settings. The upgrade installer now
has a database backup wizard for easy backups
before upgrading. An RSS client, RSS feeds, and
tag clouds are now included. Web Services were
implemented. A new underlying PHP API is provided
to ease third party development. The WebDAV server
is now open source.
