This release features a lot of bugfixes and changes which make it more stable and playable. The engine and the Panzer General converter are now combined into one package, there is a full 1939-1945 campaign, the AI has been improved, and the gameplay has been tweaked. Some nasty segmentation faults were fixed.
This release provides a bunch of bugfixes (no info for hidden units, embarking only near a harbors, 'fog of war' as config option, merging for naval units and aircrafts) and minor implementations (non-moved units blink on strategic map, higher screen resolutions, AI improvements, keys 'n' and 'p' to switch between units and faster loading of terrain).
This release provides the final implementations for weather (rain and snow), gives a list of the explicit victory conditions, allows aircrafts to supply at aircraft carriers, and has a new compact file format that is loaded ten times faster, increasing the overall loading process by 40%. There are some minor implementation changes and bugfixes. The old format is still supported, but it is strongly recommended to rerun lgc-pg 0.3 or use lgeneral-data 1.1.2 because of the weather data.
This release allows custom scenarios to be placed anywhere within the scenarios directory (no longer hardcoded to scenarios/pg) and fixes a bug that may cause a crash when focusing the last hex of a moving unit.
This release features some bugfixes, especially in
the combat rules for aircrafts/ships vs. infantry.
Without this fix, aircrafts and ships will have
absolutely no defense against infantry.
