Project Description

NHI1 is an attempt to create a non-human intelligence. It is composed of several sub-projects like theLink (formerly known as libmsgque) and theBrain, which is a persistent storage system able to save a data package from theLink without transformation.

A new "atool" tool that supersedes the "aplit", "ajoin", "acut", and "asort" tools was included. The default value for checking the connection between "server" and "client" was changed to 1h. A new "--srvname" option was added to the client startup options to prefix all log and error messages with a client-specific identifier. New options were added to the "client" performance measurement tool: "--transaction-perf", "--parent-perf", and "--child-perf". A crash bug in application cleanup within tclmsgque was fixed along with a bug where events were not cleaned up under high load.

This release has code cleanup with minor feature improvements. Support has been added for "PIPE" communication using socketpair as the default for local communication. Support has been added for "fork" on TCP/UDS servers to replace the external "astarter" tool. A lot of new documentation was added.

added. Support for socklen_t was added on all

overview. Test cases were cleaned up and added.
