libxspf (formerly called libSpiff) is a C++ library for reading and writing XSPF playlists. Both version 0 and 1 are supported. It is the official reference implementation for XSPF of the Xiph.Org Foundation.

This release mainly introduces support for the xml:base attribute. If you work with XSPF files not created by libSpiff, updating is highly recommended. This release is both source and binary compatible.
This release fixes build and packaging related issues. There is no need to upgrade if your copy of 0.8.1 built correctly for you. (This is a binary-compatible release.)
