Linuxsms is a Perl script to send SMS to GSM phones. There is support for multiple servers/gateways (some servers require registration). The script has an adressbook, the ability to compress SMS, and the ability to check for new versions.

Server onerstwap was added. Server telepolis was fixed. The vodafone and smsya
servers were removed. Debug in the get/post/head functions was fixed. Rating
and SMS limiting in server list was added. The default server can be set from a
config file, and SMS can now be read from stdin. A small GUI written in Tk was
added.
