Project Description

Linux Security Auditing Tool (LSAT) is a post install security auditing tool. It is modular in design, so new features can be added quickly. It checks many system configurations and local network settings on the system for common security/config errors and for packages that are not needed. It has been tested on Linux (Gentoo, Red Hat, Debian, etc.) and Solaris (SunOS 2.x).

0.6.5

Major logical errors in checkinetd have been fixed. lsatmain was not detecting Solaris/SunOS. Forcing the distro to be Gentoo was not working. Solaris was failing in checkpkgs, checkinetd, checkssh, checkwww, and checkopenfiles. checkwww was not checking for httpd, just apache. LSAT should now compile and run completely on Solaris (tested on Solaris 9 (SPARC) with GCC).
