Project Description

lshw (HardWare LiSter) is a small tool for Linux to provide detailed information on the hardware configuration of the machine. It can report exact memory configuration, firmware version, mainboard configuration, CPU version and speed, cache configuration, bus speed, etc.

B.02.04

This release adds support for CPUFreq (Speedstep and similar technologies). The GUI now uses a GtkTextView instead of a GtkLabel. SVG icons are now displayed for USB, Firewire, SCSI, etc. Support for reporting VMX (Vanderpool) capabilities has been added (this is untested). A compilation problem with GCC 4 has been fixed.
