Project Description

lshw (HardWare LiSter) is a small tool for Linux to provide detailed information on the hardware configuration of the machine. It can report exact memory configuration, firmware version, mainboard configuration, CPU version and speed, cache configuration, bus speed, etc.

Resources like memory, ports, and IRQs are now reported. This release also adds detailed reporting of DIMM information on PowerPC machines. Framebuffer support has been added. Minor code cleanups have been made to allow compilation on older systems.
