Project Description

lshw (HardWare LiSter) is a small tool for Linux to provide detailed information on the hardware configuration of the machine. It can report exact memory configuration, firmware version, mainboard configuration, CPU version and speed, cache configuration, bus speed, etc.

It is now possible to disable selected tests. lshw
now reports resources (such as IRQs and I/O ports)
used by devices. The documentation has been
updated. Bugfixes were made for multi-CPU systems,
OpenFirmware (Macs), and SCSI-over-IDE. Cosmetic
fixes were also made.
