Project Description

Lustre is a novel storage and filesystem architecture and implementation suitable for very large clusters. It is a next-generation cluster filesystem that is currently running on clusters that have tens of thousands of nodes, petabytes of storage, and move hundreds of GB/sec.

Enhancements to InfiniBand support. Improved I/O when using Ext3. Direct I/O reads added. Logical Object Volume rewrite. Bugfixes to components accessing the LOV. Minor memory leak fixes. A process scheduling bug has been fixed. Graceful handling of out-of-memory errors at start. Access of unallocated memory has been fixed. A race condition in the proc filesystem that could cause a kernel oops has been fixed. Flock/lockf code is in progress.
