Project Description

MantaRay is a distributed, peer-to-peer, server-less communication and messaging solution for Java (JMS), C++, and .NET applications. It integrates with JBoss, WebLogic, and WebSphere and offers guaranteed delivery, security, and transactions. It supports the TCP, SSL, and HTTP protocols.

This release features transaction support, a configurable KeepAlive mechanism, and new receiveNoWait functionality in the queue. Problems with sending messages after disconnecting the consumer and exceptions on receiveNoWait in the queue were fixed along with various other issues.

This release is fully JMS1.1 and 1.02 compliant,
with Point-to-point (queue) and pub/sub (topic)
implementations. It features reliability,
persistency, durability, transactions support, and
integration with the WebLogic and WebSphere
application servers. Security is controlled
through an access list for services and
transports. TCP, UDP, and HTTP are supported as
communication tunnels. New transport layers and
services are discovered automatically if the
AutoDiscovery plug-in is active.
