Project Description

MatPLC is a software-based PLC (Programmable Logic
Controller) for industrial automation. Ultimately,
it should be possible to run a factory using this
software. Currently, one should keep in mind that
it is still at the testing stage, and is therefore
not suitable for applications where incorrect
operation would cause damage or danger.

In bespin, IEC 1131 ST and IL languages, two of
the five industry-standard programming languages,
were added. Soft-RT capability and Python support
were added. Merging with the LPC project has
continued. A new strip-chart widget was added, and
other improvements were made in the graphical HMI
module. An interface with the Visual project
provides a Web HMI. Comedi and ABEL provide an
interface to over 300 I/O cards and AB PLCs.
