Project Description

memtest86+ is a memory tester which is based on memtest86 v3.0, and provides an up-to-date version of this useful tool, which aims to be as reliable as the original. It has been fixed to work on AMD64 systems, and also properly detects all current CPUs and motherboard chipsets. It supports ECC polling for AMD64, i875P, and E7205, and displays some useful settings for the most popular chipsets.

Detection is now supported for Pentium-M 0.13 &
0.09 µm (Banias & Dothan), Pentium 4-M 0.09µm
(Prescott), Centrino platform, i852 and i855
series (Mobile), ALi M1687, AMD8000 and Intel
i7505, VIA KM266/KN266/KM400 and
SiS645/645DX/648/748. A problem with instant
reboot and crash with Prescott CPUs was solved.
The channel detection code for nForce2 was
rewritten. Thoroughbred B and Duron Applebred are
now detected as 0.13µm. i848P was added to
springdale's string. The Pass Count is now reset
